McLaren Racing and Nissan have announced a multi-year technical collaboration ahead of the new Formula E season.
McLaren are venturing out into electric motorsport more and more with them entering both Formula E for the 2022/23 campaign and Extreme E later on this year.
Indeed, it’s further evidence of the automotive icon’s pledge to push for sustainability and climate awareness, with them also becoming the first major motorsport team to publish a sustainability report, released earlier on this week.
And, ahead of the new Formula E season, things are really starting to take shape with McLaren revealing that they and Nissan will work together over the coming years with the Japanese brand providing the EV powertrain to the McLaren car for Gen3 of Formula E, which begins from the 22/23 season.
